SIERRA AT TAHOE, CA - Originally named the Sierra Ski Ranch, The area once featured 2 Yan detachable #7 model
quad chairs. They were replaced in 1996 following the discovery of signifigant flaws in the #7 model design


TAHOE KING (YAN) - Built in 1978 by Lift Engineering (Yan), this chair runs as an auxilary lift to the Grandview Express and
only runs when crowds permit.


GRANDVIEW EXPRESS (DOPPELMAYR) - Built in 1996 to replace a Yan detachable quad (Sensation Express).


EL DORADO (YAN) - Installed in 1980 this lift services intermediate and novice terrain on the back
of the area. Notice the newer design chairs as compared to the Tahoe King older Lift Engineering (YAN)
"squared off" carriers.


SHORT STUFF (YAN) - This double was built in 1980 along with the El Dorado Chair.


GRAND VIEW EXPRESS (DOPPELMAYR) - Installed in 1996 this lift replaced a Yan Detachable #7 model that ran the same line.


ROCK GARDEN (YAN) - This chair replaced the original Rock Garden double from the Sierra Ski Ranch days.


NOB HILL (YAN) - Built in 1978 by Lift Engineering (Yan), this lift leaves from the main base
area and was one of the mountain's original lifts.


PUMA TRIPLE (YAN) - Built in 1982 to serve expanded terrain in the West Bowl area.


WEST BOWL QUAD (DOPPELMAYR) - Built in 1996 this quad replaced a Yan #7 type high speed quad.
